A Time for Everything

There is not another painting I've done that I enjoyed more than this one. A good friend from high school, Sarah, asked for a number of paintings that would coincide with one another to hang on her bedroom wall. So, I was honored to do it for her, yet scared at the same time. I had NO IDEA how to make it work, but we chose a 12x36 canvas as the centerpiece, and six 8x10 canvases as detailing. Sarah asked for Ecclesiastes 3:1-8, which is absolutely beautiful, and we went from there:
