Amidst the busyness of painting, my neighbor quietly knocked on my door one late afternoon...
This was, by far, one of the most exciting and challenging paintings to do because 1) I had paintings upon paintings to complete but I just couldn't refuse doing this one, and 2) it was a surprise from my next door neighbor for his wife's Valentine's Day gift. He wasn't exactly sure on everything she would want other than this scripture because it was the favorite verse of her late grandfather. She had mentioned to me months ago that she wanted something like this done, but we never actually worked it out. So, when her husband came to me in secret asking me to do this for him, I was honored because I knew how much it would mean to her!
It was my privilege, sweet neighbors. Thanks again.
