Harvest at Home

I have to say that some of my favorite paintings to do are when I have complete freedom. It also helps that I know Jessica and her husband's story... I went to school (middle and high) with Jessica, and we have remained in contact with one another over the years. They have been married a little over 2 years and wanted a piece to remind them to remain faithful and patience while waiting on the Lord. Jessica sent me pictures from her living room and told me which colors she liked, but the rest was up to me. I chose an inspiration verse which has meant SO MUCH to me in the past year, and I pray it gives the Hobbs family the same encouragement.

For the Hobbs' Gift of God, I went with browns, reds, and oranges, which are very appropriate during this fall season, on a 12x36 canvas. I included Psalm 37:4...
