I made a dear friend all because of this painting. Lily's Mom wanted a special painting with the perfect scripture for her baby's room. I seriously could cry thinking about how intricate the details were in how Lily's Mom and I met, and then again over the fact that THIS VERSE is amazing for Lily. If you only knew...
Thanking God for my new friendship with Lily's Mom, and for Little Miss Lily... She is
truly a gift from God.

This painting was actually ordered by a dear friend of mine to give to a mutual friend of ours. My dear friend told me to do this painting as if it were for my own little girl, and though I had no idea what I'd do with a girl of my own, I picked an amazing verse that could always be special to Hannah and her parents. Hope the Millers love their painting, and I pray that Miss Hannah one day has a heart that fears her Lord.

I really loved doing this painting because I love purples and greens but more so because of the little one's name, Eden. I've always loved that name and wanted it to go right along with what her name means in the Scriptures, "beauty and place of pleasure." I couldn't help but think of how gorgeous that garden in Genesis may have been!
My mom gave this painting to a sweet lady at her church who was having her third (?) child. The first 2 were boys, so I wanted to go ALL OUT on the girly features with butterflies and flowers. I think it is
beautiful and will be a
pleasure to view in Eden's room!
This precious painting is on its way up north for a two-year-old who has been adopted by a super sweet family! I was honored to do this for Ashley's pastel room, and her mom chose Romans 8:15 for it. I pray she cherishes this painting and her home for years to come!

Another gift for my biggest supporter Meredith to give to one of her fellow teachers who is having a little girl!

Believe it or not, I didn't make this for myself, but for a high school friend who was having a little Jenna of her own. This was ordered by the mom's good friend, and I had the privilege of knowing who it was going to!

I'm not sure if Carly's hair is curly, but her mom wanted her name and scripture in a "curly" font; not to mention, Carly's
adorable bedding has butterflies swirling over it with flowers and leaves.
I framed Carly's painting in burgundy paint to match her name and help the painting POP off of her blue nursery walls! I hope Carly and her family love this painting!

I did this piece for a sweet girl in Texas. After seeing
her darling bedding, I was honored to work with this family. Thank you Emily for your business!

Kenley and Karlee are sharing a room, but
their precious bedding has got to be the most adorable I've ever seen! After doing
their paintings, I wanted to go in a completely different direction on their lampshade... I focused on one polka-dotted section of the quilt, and then had to add a flower when my 3-month-old Daniel rolled over onto it and got green paint on it!

My sweet nieces moved into their NEW, big girl room this summer! I was so excited to re-do their birthday presents I had done previously to make them match their new decor.

Here are my new models...

A sweet lady from church ordered this precious piece for her niece, Camryn. After sending me a picture of
Camryn's bedding called Cotton Tale Sassy, Karin and I could not decide what we wanted it to look like... She wanted flowers; I wanted dots because I kept messing up the flowers. All in all, I'm thrilled with how SASSY it turned out.

I received the request for this painting a few weeks before Daniel was born, and I am JUST NOW getting it finished. Sweet Heather wanted a girly piece for her daughter's room who is just about a year old. Grayson's room is in pinks, greens, and white with flowers galore. I was given her pillowcase and went from there:

God so directly puts people in our lives in specific seasons. I met the owner of this piece years ago while in college taking Elementary Education classes. We met up again through our blogs, and it just so happened that both she and I had some very similar situations. She has encouraged me when no one else could, and this
sweet sister was due with her fourth little girl within 4 days of my little boy. However, little Abigail COULD NOT WAIT to get here and came on April 2nd. Emily and I share somewhat of kindred spirits, and I was honored when Emily asked me to paint a Gift of God for her sweet Abigail Joy.

This painting turned out so perfectly; I could not WAIT to share it with you! I received an order from Amanda in Murfreesboro, and she was wanting a small painting for her daughter's nursery. She wasn't EXACTLY sure what she wanted at first, so we worked together and came up with a 10x10 canvas, with flowers and dots to match
her bedding, and the PERFECT scripture. Hope she likes it as much as I do!

A friend from the "blogosphere" (as she calls it) wrote and asked for a Gift of God for her friend who is expecting a little girl. It was strange at first, because I had no idea who she was or how she found me, but it turns out we have a LOT in common and I now call her friend. Jessica wanted an 8x10 canvas with James 1:17, with greens, beige, and pinks. I went from there, and it made its way to MARYLAND for the little one's shower:

A special thanks to
Jessica for asking me to do this for her.

I was given really great instructions on this painting... Logann is due in December, but her mom, Jenny, is on the ball with getting the nursery ready. Their first girl after Matthew (
his painting is here), Mom wanted a pink background, green polka dots, baby's name in brown, and white James 1:17 scripture, and the bedding picture is
found here. Well, leave it to me to NOT be satisfied with JUST that. I really wanted to make it more "girly" and got some great ideas from
these hangers in the set. I loved the little flowers and KNEW they would make this Gift of God much sweeter!
